What is LIT?

The Leaders in Training program is designed for High School Students (Finished 9th grade - Graduating Seniors) to experience an incredible adventure of following Christ and developing their leadership skills.

Through first-hand experience and hands-on learning, you will be able to focus on your God-given skills while strengthening your faith, growing in community, and becoming servant-hearted leaders who are mission-minded.

Servant Leadership

BLC's L.I.T program is a volunteer, servant leadership program for High School Students. This program has become a critical component for the summer staff, the campers and the entire program.

L.I.T is intentionally designed to teach leadership skills, positive and responsible work habits, to promote teamwork and team living, and to encourage excellence in all we do for the Lord (Col 3:23).

I’ve been so blessed to be able to be a part of BLC for the past two summers. It has honestly been such a joy to work alongside all of the staff and pour into all the kids that come. God deeply refreshed and encouraged my soul this summer through all the people he placed in my life at BLC. I always walk away from BLC having a greater sense of what the body of Christ ought to look like as we strive to humbly and sacrificially love one another as Christ loved us and to proclaim, cherish and exalt Christ together.
